Precautions for DELIXI fuse use

1. The protection characteristics of the fuse should be compatible with the overload characteristics of the protected object. Considering the possible short-circuit current, the fuse with the corresponding breaking capacity should be selected;

2, the rated voltage of the fuse should adapt to the line voltage level, the rated current of the fuse should be greater than or equal to the rated current of the melt;

3. The rated current of fuse melts at all levels in the line should be matched accordingly, and the rated current of the former level of melt must be greater than the rated current of the next level of melt;

4. The melt of the fuse should be used in accordance with the requirements of the melt. It is not allowed to increase the melt or replace the melt with other conductors.

Circuit inspection of fuse:

1. Check whether the rating of fuse and melt match with the protected equipment;

2. Check whether the appearance of the fuse is damaged or deformed, and whether the porcelain insulation part has flicker and discharge traces;

3. Check whether the contact points of the fuse are intact, close contact and overheating;

4. The fuse signal indicator of the fuse is normal.

Fuse service and maintenance:

1. When melt breaks, the causes of melt breaks should be carefully analyzed. The possible reasons are as follows:

(1) Short circuit fault or overload operation and normal fuse;

(2) Melt service time is too long, melt due to oxidation or high temperature in operation, melt characteristics change and error;

(3) Mechanical damage occurs when the melt is installed, which reduces its cross-sectional area and causes errors in operation.

2. When dismantling and replacing melt, it is required to:

(1) Before installing the new melt, find out the melt fuse reason, do not replace the melt test before determining the fuse reason;

(2) When replacing the new melt, check whether the rated value of the melt matches the protected equipment;

(3) When replacing a new melt, check the burns inside the fuse pipe. If there are serious burns, replace the fuse pipe at the same time. When the porcelain fuse tube is damaged, it is not allowed to replace it with other materials. When replacing the melt of the filler type fuse, pay attention to the filler.

3. The fuse shall be maintained at the same time as the distribution device:

(1) Clean dust and check contact points;

(2) Check the appearance of the fuse (remove the fuse tube) for any damage or deformation, and the porcelain for any trace of discharge flicker;

(3) Check the fuse, whether the melt matches the protected circuit or equipment, and investigate in time if there is any problem;

(4) Pay attention to check the N line in the TN grounding system and the grounding protection line of the equipment. Fuses are not allowed;

(5) When maintaining and checking the fuse, cut off the power supply according to the requirements of safety regulations, and do not allow to remove the fuse tube when live.
