GW5-40.5, 72.5, 126(W) I 630、1250、1600、2000 Distyle Fracture Level Rotation Outdoor Three Phase AC High Voltage Disconnecting Switch (hereinafter called switch) is supplied to high voltage circuitry for throwover under no load condition, and is used as electric disconnect for overhauled high voltage bus ,breaker and such high voltage electric device and high voltage circuitry with electricity.

Type and Meaning

Normal usage condition

1. Ambient temperature, -40°C ~+40°C

2. Altitude: not over 2000m

3. Pollution degree: ⅡⅢ Ⅳ

4. Thickness of icing: not over 10m

5. Wind pressure not over 700Pa

6. Earthquake degree: not over 8 degree

7. The place where it is used is free from flammable and explosive danger, chemical corrosion and frequent intense vibration

Product features

High voltage ac switch is the new disconnecting switch, which is researched and developed by our company on the basis of GW5 G and GW5 n, and conforms to the perfecting requirement of national electric company disconnecting switch It features the followings:

1. Complete types and models, high technical value, wide applicable area, main knife can be combined with human mechanism (CS171V), also can be combined with electric mechanism (CJ6 or CJ2-XG). The installation method is reliable.

2. Adopt new U-shaped contact figure and bending forming contact head. Contact figure and contact stand adopt new-style th roughflow structure, insulation contact figure spring measure, making sure the throughflow capacity.

3. Adopt axletree seat of fully sealed structure. And rotation step adopts no-oiling axletree. Transmission axle pin adopts materials of stainless. Steel piece and standard piece are zinc impregnation Connection seat, main knife conduit, earthing tube adopts sealed structure. Galvanization earthing weave brings the ability of enhancing rustproof of product.

4. Adopt simple and reliable mechanical transmission method. Main knife increases opening and closing spacing measure to enhance the reliability of action of product

5. New-improved designed CS171V series mechanism, which has strong waterproof, dustproof and rustproof functions.

6. Vertical transmission rod and horizontal transmission rod all adopt method of U- shaped bolt linked with anchor ear. Cancel local welding, being convenient for local installation, debugging, dismantle and maintenance for users.

7.Supply complete set steel hot dip galvanizing basic support and vertical, horizontal transmission rods for the selection of users.

Products sort

1.Product can be sorted three models according to voltage degree: 40.5kV, 72.5kV, 126kV.

2.Product can be sorted four models according to current degree: 640A, 1250A, 1600A, 2000A,

3. Product can be sorted four models according to attached installing earthing switch: no earthing, left earthing, right earthing, double earthing. The attached installing earthing switch can be sorted two models according to short circuit current capacity: I earthing switch, n earthing switch. And dynamic short-time withstand value of n earthing switch is the same as disconnecting knife’s.

Product structure and Working principle

1. Structure

GW5 IH disconnecting switch(Fig.2, Fig.3) is composed of three single poles, operating mechanism and transmission parts. Each single pole is set in an I – shaped frame, composing of underplate, axletree seat, support insulation, connection seat, left and right contacts, earthing static contact and earthing switch knife and so on.

Main knife of three phase ac switch is combined with CS171V series human mechanism; it also can be combined with CJ6 or CJ2-XG.; earthing knife is combined with CS171V series human mechanism. When human operating mechanism combines with electromagnetic lock, electric interlock among disconnecting switch, earthing switch and breaker can efficient achieved, avoiding incorrect operation.

2.Opening operation

I.Main knife working principle

The operation of gw4 is connected with switch main shaft through vertical transmission rod, joint and universal joint, and connected with each separate single pole through joint and link rod, so that it achieve synchronous act of the three single poles.

2.Earthing knife working principle

Three single-pole earthing knives are connected through three single-pole transmission rods. Main shaft of operating mechanism is connected with one set of space four-connection rods through vertical transmission rod and joint. When the mechanism acts, closing and opening operations of earthing knife are achieved through vertical transmission rod and space four-connection rods.

3.Auxiliary switch working principle

The auxiliary switch of operating mechanism is linked with main shaft of mechanism. Break or close the relevant contacts when act opening or closing, and give the relevant signals.

4.Main, earthing knives mechanical lockout

When both of main, earthing knives are combined with human operating mechanism, the interlock between eathing switch and disconnecting switch is achieved through interlock board of mechanism. When main knife operating mechanism is combined with electric mechanism, the interlock between eathing switch and disconnecting switch is achieved through interlock board between disconnecting switch and earthing knife rotation axis.

5.When the operating mechanism is CS171Vseries human mechanism, indicate pair quantity of auxiliary contacts(main, earthing knives),whether combines with electromagnetic lock、 connection terminal with secondary outlet or not; otherwise only auxiliary switch (4 opening 4 closing) is combined; when combining with electromagnetic lock, indicate the main knife is combined with electromagnetic lock or both of main、earthing are combined with electromagnetic lock

6.Pollution degree: n IK IV . n degree will be adopted when no indicating.

7.Earthing model: no earthing, left earthing, right earthing, double earthing. Single earthing is right earthing when no indicating.

8.Indicate the product is combined with I -shaped earthing knife or n -shaped earthing knife. I -shaped earthing knife will be adopted when no indicating.

9. Complete set of steel base seat can be combined if the customer requires. Please indicate height when placing orders. Attached- assemble installation dimension of metal steel support (see Fig5) and ground dimension (see Fig.6), they are only for references.

10.Pleaseindicate the material of connection board is aluminum or brass. Aluminum will be adopted when no indicating.
